Launched in 2019, SheeldMarket is the first crypto-currency prime broker registered with the AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers). Our trading platform is connected to dozens of exchanges and liquidity providers and gives investors the best price on all trades, even large ones, while their assets are securely stored and settled in our infrastructure.

Our Missions

  • Help our clients maximize their profit from their assets;
  • Reduce the barrier to entry for professionals and institutions and minimize friction with a unique API, counterparty and interface;
  • Be their main partner for all subjects linked to crypto-assets.

As an intern

You will work with our CTO and our Head of Trading to improve and expand the functionalities of our trading environment. Reliability, recoverability, throughput, and latency are critical aspects of our system.

Your missions:

  • Implement new API connections towards external crypto exchanges and brokers for real-time market data feeds and trading.
  • Implement production-ready trading agents gathering optimized data structures and financial logic.
  • Active participation in code standardization for production-grade software.

You are an ideal candidate if you

  • Are finishing your CS Degree from a major engineering school. No financial knowledge required.
  • Have a sharp mind with great learning capabilities
  • Worked on object-oriented projects and/or internships

It’s even better if you

  • Have experience with critical real-time systems in C/C++ (finance, automobile, aerospace, defense)
  • Are sensitized to inter-process communication and polling
  • Are aware of standard data structures access/insertion complexity
